Last Sunday, on the occasion of Ayacucho's Carnaval, well-known in the country, a big step has been done in the recognition of handicapped people in Huamanga.

10 and 11 Februrary last, were organised training days in anticipation of the creation of the CCONNA-Huamanga (Consejo Consultativo de Niñas, Niños y Adolescentes).

This week, several children of la Casa Hogar los Gorriones took part in an integration campaign dedicated to young disabled people. Set up by a Peruvian charity,
